Frequently asked questions

Find all the details regarding solo walks, safety, weather arrangements, and booking procedures for Nunthorpe and the surrounding Middlesbrough area.

Are you fully insured?

Yes, absolutely. Chasing Tails Nunthorpe is fully insured for dog walking, home visits and home boarding. Your dog's safety and well-being are always my top priorities, and I am happy to show documentation during our initial meet and greet.

Do you offer solo walks or group walks?

I specialise in dedicated solo walks to ensure your dog receives 100% of my care and attention. However, I can happily walk two small dogs together if they are from the same household, for an extra £5 on top of the standard walk price.

What happens if the weather is bad?

I walk in rain, snow, or shine—as long as that is what you and your dog want! Having owned a dog who refused to step outside in wet weather, I completely respect your pet's comfort and will adapt the session accordingly or provide indoor companionship if preferred.

How do you handle house keys and home access?

During our initial consultation, we will agree exactly how you would like me to enter your property and where spare keys will be stored securely. All keys are kept strictly confidential and labelled safely without home addresses attached.

How do you keep dogs clean after a muddy walk?

I always bring my own clean towels to thoroughly wipe down paws and dry your dog before letting them back into your home, keeping your floors clean and your dog warm and comfortable.

How do I book, cancel, or reschedule a walk?

Booking is simple! You can contact me directly by text message, email, or via social media. If your plans change and you need to reschedule or cancel at short notice, simply send me a direct message as soon as possible.
